High Roller

Following up yesterday’s Italian post with another - this time with the caramel tones of Italian socialite Bianca Brandolini. If you don’t know her she’s kind of a European version of Olivia Palermo – expensive accessories, tanned limbs and killer smile.

Her hair always looks amazing in every papped photo with her signature style of ombred soft waves in a centre parting. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

As a fashion student I was obsessed with Missoni prints and on visiting the Missoni Hotel in Edinburgh, I’ve fallen in love again.

The beautiful Margherita Missoni is a great ambassador for the brand. Her hippy-luxe styling and tousled bed-hair lends an ease and youthfulness to their otherwise grown-up fashion. Ah wardrobe envy.

Guess who? Never thought we’d be saying this but PARIS HILTON is looking good.

A blunt fringe replaces her standard-issue sweeping fringe and the nod to fetish fashion makes her looked like a sexed-up Bardot.

Love this lady. She’s a total inspiration. Janelle’s mantra is apparently “You don’t need to take the same co-ordinates to get to the same destination” and boy is she living by that.

Her look is testament to breaking the mould: monochrome suits, no flesh on show and natural hair fashioned into her now iconic signature pompadour.

Hell yes.

The new summer hair accessory on every hip-head appears to be the, er, hair thong. We are sure there are more PC names for it but frankly whilst it’s not pretty, it is pretty memorable. Richie gets A* for kicking off the trend but the ethereal Isabel Lucas is not far behind. 

Back from Glastonbury and inspired by flower hairbands I’ve been looking for images to blog. It’s near impossible to find photos of flowers in hair, that capture the freedom you feel at festivals and don’t look a) like wedding photos and b) too pretty. We think this photo fits the bill. 

Festival season is upon us and you can’t move for mentions of Dry Shampoo. Alternatively you can work with the build-up and go with a style that embraces day-old texture. Warrior make-up optional.

Love this photo of Sky Ferreira. There’s so much going on – the pout, snakeskin biker-boots, wrist bondage but it’s the hair that makes it.
